Our hospitality venues the Chinese Tea House The Moaning of the Dragon and Grand Café De Plantage are official wedding venues of the municipality of Groningen. After the ceremony, there is no need to move, as we are also perfectly capable of hosting your reception and/or wedding party. In addition, of course, our gardens provide a b(l)oodding backdrop for taking wedding photos. We offer a cozy and atmospheric environment. Of course, you are also welcome to join us in the evenings after the Hortus closes!

Of course, it is also possible to have your photos taken in the garden on your wedding day. You are welcome to this even without a ceremony or celebration. The Hortus and especially the Chinese Garden are popular locations for taking photos.
