The accessibility of the Hortus park is reasonable to good, with the exception of the Rock garden and Chinese garden. Be advised to take account that there are a lot of gravel paths. There is a toilet for the disabled at the entrance and in the Grand Cafe The Plantage. Furthermore there are three wheelchairs and two rollators which can be borrowed for visitors at the Hortus.

We have a audiotour for the Chinese Garden. This is developed specially for visually impaired or blind people. Information is given about the special places and characteristics of the Garden and its pavilions. There is also an audiotour available vor de Wildplant Garden and the Laarman Garden.
Assistance dogs – if kept on a leash- are allowed to enter.
