Exhibition Laura Esselaar
Exhibition in the entrance hall of the Hortus from 15 January to 27 February.
Laura Esselaar (1995) has been working at Cosis Kunst in the Hortus since November 2017. Laura started with a marker on paper. She also discovered acrylic paint and canvas and gradually mastered this technique.
In a short time, Laura has developed her own style, which makes her work very recognizable. Laura first creates a composition with an object or template. After this she carefully chooses her colors and creates a caleidoscopic effect. There seems to be a layering in her work as if transparent slides are piled up. This effect is created by applying colors over each other.
