Exhibition Liesbeth Kok

From 30 March until 30 May Liesbeth Kok will show her paintings in the Thousand Things Pavilion (Duizend Dingen Paviljoen) in the Chinese Garden of the Hortus. Initially, Kok painted with oils on linen until she by chance stumbled upon a roll of jute. This material was well-suited to her, and she started painting on it with self-made egg tempera. Her abstract works reflect the visual language of the 1960s and 1970s.

She works from the inside out and builds her work up from many layers to give her work harmony and added value.
